Abstract info

An abstract is required for all Oral, Poster, Young Investigator and Late breaker presentations. Submissions should be sent by email to The Macrae Group.

Download the abstract form in Word, or follow the instructions provided below.


Abstract format (PC format only accepted)
The entire abstract, including title, author(s) and affiliation(s) must be typed as follows:

Line spacing: single-space;
Font type: Times New Roman or Arial;
Font size: 11 or 12 point;
Size of abstract: one page with 1.5 inch (3.8 cm) top & bottom margins.

In addition please provide the details of the presenting author and address/email address for correspondence. You should also state which session you wish your abstract to be considered for, as follows:

  • Epidemiology
  • Etiology
  • Susceptibility to Exacerbation
  • Pathogenesis
  • Current Treatment
  • Clinical Trial Design and Outcomes
  • Future Treatments
If you wish your abstract to be considered for poster presentation only this needs to be noted on your submission. If you are under 35 years of age and want to be consider for Young Investigator Award, this needs to be noted on the submission as well.
