GEIS Grant for Foreign Nationals
Thank you to everyone who applied for the AFHSC/GEIS Grant to attend the XII International Symposium on Respiratory Viral Infections. At this time, the grant is now full and we will no longer be accepting applications. For those who have applied, notifications will be sent in the near future.
The Macrae Group LLC has been provided a grant from the Armed Forces Health Surveillance Center, Global Emerging Infections Surveillance and Response System (GEIS), to sponsor foreign national's attendance at the announced XII International Symposium on Respiratory Viral Infections (travel, accommodations, per diems and registration fee).
We are currently accepting applications for foreign national's from Southeast Asia and the African Continent. Applicants must attain and attach an endorsement from an OCUNUS DoD Laboratory (USAMRU-K, AFRIMS, NAMRU-2, NAMRU-3, NMRCD-Peru), either with direct or indirect association. Please submit a GEIS participant registration and travel request form (see "Downloadable Forms") for this grant as soon as possible, but no later than December 31, 2009. No applications will be accepted after the December 31, 2009 deadline. Thank you for your understanding. Please send your completed forms and endorsement to registration@themacraegroup.com.
